So the first step is to buy a No Objection Certificate (NOC), also known as a Sales Certificate. To buy it, expect to spend PKR 500 and wait for a total of 7 days.

This step is where a significant chunk of your budget will be spent on registering Property in Karachi. The property registration fee and stamp duty, among other expenses, require a total of PKR 341,558. It takes a day to complete the process.
After paying the amount, take the receipt to the stamp office. You won’t have to pay extra and will be received the same day.
Finally, the actual execution and registration of the sale or purchase are done before the sub-registrar, which will take around three days to be fully complete. Once this is done, your property will be registered.

To register a property in Lahore, a total of 15 days and a sum of PKR 343,408 are required. However, as compared with Karachi, the process requires fewer steps. The following are the four steps to register a property in Lahore:
To start with the process, the first thing you need is a document called FARD. It is an ownership and non-encumbrance certificate that costs PKR 150. This process will take one day. You can get it online from here.

Next up is paying stamp duty, town tax, capital value tax and the registration fees. All of this combined cost PKR 342,758 and can be managed within a day. You are almost done with all the steps.
The final step is the most time taking. You will have to appear before the registration authority to register and execute the deed. This step will take 8 days to complete.
